Dr. George P Teitelbaum, MD, FSIR, is an interventional radiologist who uses image-guided minimally invasive procedures to treat a variety of vascular problems involving the brain and spine, as well as multiple disease states affecting the remainder of the body. Some of the procedures offered by Dr. Teitelbaum include outpatient embolization for erectile dysfunction due to venous leak, severe intractable headache pain, severe osteoarthritic knee pain, uterine fibroids, hemorrhoids, benign prosthetic hypertrophy (BPH) and male infertility caused by varicocele. Dr. Teitelbaum obtained his MD degree from UCSD, completed a residency in radiology at the University of California, Irvine and fellowship training at George Washington University in Washington DC and UC San Francisco. He was previously Director of interventional Neuroradiology as well as body interventional radiology at the USC/Keck school of medicine and was regional director of interventional neuroradiology for providence of Southern California. He presently is an interventional radiologist at the Rexford surgical Institute in Beverly Hills. He has authored or co-authored more than 100 peer reviewed scientific journal articles and has been awarded scores of US and international patents for multiple medical devices.
